Park Hyatt's Niseko outpost gets 13 branded villas, designed by Kengo Kuma and Andre Fu
PCPD and Hyatt are extending the Park Hyatt name in Niseko from hotel rooms into real estate, with 13 ultra-luxury villas as large as 1,000 square metres and two starchitects attached -- a bet that branded residences, not room nights, are where the resort's next growth sits.
Pacific Century Premium Developments (PCPD) and Hyatt Hotels Corporation unveiled ONE HANAZONO VILLAS on September 1, describing it as the first Park Hyatt-branded villa development in Japan, according to a joint statement carried on Hyatt's newsroom. The project sits in Niseko's Hanazono area, home to the existing Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono hotel.
