The Body Shop opens a Sapporo Tokyu store fitted with recycled Shinkansen aluminium
The Body Shop Japan has opened a sustainability-themed concept store at Sapporo Tokyu department store, with fixtures made from recycled aluminium salvaged from retired Tokaido Shinkansen carriages.
The Body Shop Japan Co., Ltd. has opened a "Changemakers Workshop" concept store on the first floor of Sapporo Tokyu department store, built from materials the company describes as approximately 100% sustainable, including recycled aluminium salvaged from retired Tokaido Shinkansen carriages, according to the company's own announcement. The store opened on 9 September.
