Michelin-starred Paris restaurant Ortensia makes its Japan debut on a Mitsukoshi Nihombashi pop-up floor
Ortensia, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris's 16th arrondissement run by Japanese owner-chef Teruyoshi Saito, is making its Japan debut as a reservation-only eat-in inside Mitsukoshi Nihombashi's France Fair, the department store said — the latest case of a European kitchen choosing a Tokyo flagship's event floor, rather than a standalone lease, for its first service in Japan.
Ortensia, a Michelin-starred restaurant on Rue Beethoven in Paris's 16th arrondissement, is opening a reservation-only eat-in inside Mitsukoshi Nihombashi's flagship store, according to Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings. The department store's own announcement describes it as the restaurant's first appearance in Japan.
