Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama reopens with 16% fewer, bigger rooms
Mitsui Fudosan's Okayama hotel reopened with 16% fewer rooms and far more of the larger kind, betting space beats volume in the mid-tier renovation playbook.
Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama reopened on August 9 after a full renovation that cut its room count to 297 from 352 — a roughly 16% reduction — while increasing its larger three-person rooms to 51 from eight, Mitsui Fudosan said in a release. Guest rooms throughout the hotel were redesigned with new interiors, furniture and updated plumbing, according to the developer.
