GranSta Tokyo's underground Marunouchi concourse reopens with 26 shops
JR East Cross Station is reopening one of Tokyo Station's busiest underground retail strips on 16 September, betting on everyday dining and sweets over souvenir volume to keep commuters coming back.
JR East Cross Station will reopen the underground Marunouchi ticket-gate concourse of GranSta Tokyo on 16 September, bringing 26 shops back onto one of Tokyo Station's highest-traffic retail floors, the company said. Thirteen of the 26 are exclusive to the site, and every shop will carry a GranSta Tokyo-only product line.
