Dandelion Chocolate opens Japan's largest craft-chocolate factory in Koto Ward, marking a decade here
Dandelion Chocolate is opening a roughly 1,000-square-metre factory and cafe in Tokyo's Koto Ward on October 30 — its largest production base in Japan and, it says, the country's largest craft-chocolate factory — ten years after the San Francisco brand first opened here, a concrete new floor for a food-and-drink destination rather than another product launch.
Dandelion Chocolate Japan said it will open a new factory and cafe at 4-10-5 Hirano in Tokyo's Koto Ward on October 30, a roughly 300-tsubo (about 1,000 square metre), three-storey building the company is calling its largest Japan factory and, by its own account, the largest craft bean-to-bar chocolate factory in the country.
