CCC joins the opening of Sumu Asakusa South, its first purpose-built book-curated hotel
Culture Convenience Club is joining the opening of Sumu Asakusa South, a 17-room Tokyo apartment hotel curated by TSUTAYA's book and electronics staff and operated by Kasoku — the Sumu format's second property, and the first one CCC has built from the ground up rather than adapted.
Culture Convenience Club said it is taking part in the opening of Sumu Asakusa South, a 17-room apartment hotel in Taito ward, Tokyo — a six-minute walk from Asakusa Station, three from Kuramae and six from Tawaramachi — opening October 10 with reservations available from October 1. The ten-storey, newly built property has nine standard rooms, seven themed "Sumu Culture" rooms and one pet-friendly room, plus a ground-floor lounge, with nightly rates starting at ¥35,000 including tax. The hotel is operated by Kasoku Co.
