Autry launches a Snoopy capsule and opens a new store at Kobe Hankyu

Autry Japan times a Snoopy x Autry capsule to the October 23 opening of a new directly run store at Kobe Hankyu, its third Japan door alongside Isetan Shinjuku and Takashimaya Osaka.

Autry Japan K.K., the Shibuya-based operator of the Italian sneaker brand's Japan business, said it will launch a capsule collection with Snoopy and Woodstock from Peanuts on October 23, 2026, sold in limited quantities at its directly run stores, according to a company release.

The same day, Autry will open a new store on the 3rd floor of Kobe Hankyu's New Annex -- its third directly operated Japan location alongside the existing counters at Isetan Shinjuku (B1, the Shoe Lab) and Takashimaya Osaka (3rd floor, Style & Edit). The capsule runs to ¥45,100 for a pair of Medalist sneakers carrying embroidered Snoopy logos on the heel tab, with sweatshirts at ¥34,100, T-shirts at ¥16,500, a cap at ¥13,200 and socks at ¥5,280, the company said. Peanuts Worldwide, which licenses the characters, is 80%-owned by Sony Group and 20%-owned by the Schulz family.

"Autry draws constant inspiration from icons that shape people's imagination and remain loved across generations," Roberta Benaglia, chief executive of parent company Style Capital and Autry's executive chairman, said in the release.

The Kobe opening is a concrete marker of Autry widening its own-operated footprint in Japan rather than relying solely on wholesale, following the Osaka Takashimaya flagship floortok covered last month -- three directly run doors now give the brand control over how a licensed character collaboration like this one is merchandised, rather than leaving that to a department-store buyer.
