Other callouts in the filing
One-offNet income fell 54.6% because the year-earlier half included deferred tax assets, mainly for tax losses carried forward, booked when it absorbed the former I&H; tax went from a ¥6.29bn credit to an ¥8.04bn charge.
OutlookIt raised full-year sales guidance to ¥1,117.9bn (+10.6%) from ¥1,092.0bn by adding Seki Yakuhin from September, but cut operating profit to ¥51.0bn (+5.0%) from ¥54.0bn and net income to ¥27.4bn (−39.1%) from ¥32.8bn, citing weak summer seasonal sales in poor weather.
